milk, cookies, and… the office?

Oh how I love to curl up in my room under my big denim comforter and sip munch on milk and cookies, it truly is the perfect set up [especially when you are done with school for winter break : )]

image

the only thing that makes this better is having the first five seasons of “The Office” on DVD

image

and a laptop to play them

image [this is clearly not my personal laptop, but it is rather fantastic if you ask me]

I highly respect the arts of Abby with her hot coco and movies, but I personally prefer my ice cold milk and fresh baked cookies. As Abby has said before, go and find your perfect night. get cozy, get a snack and veg out to a lovely video or TV show : )

Merry Christmas

Today we were at work an extra hour and a half because we had to put together 52 gift baskets!!! Each basket had a round loaf of old fashion white, a loaf of cinnamon swirl, a bag of pancake mix, a six pack of snicker doodle cookies, a jar of jam, and a jar of peanut butter. All of these lovely goodies are put into a basket with shredded paper to fill the spaces between the items. When all of this is in a cutesy basket we put it in a cellophane bag and tie a bow around the top. Making all of the gift baskets took about four hours! Also today I got to fill out all 52 of the greeting cards to go with the baskets… each card said “Happy Holidays! –NAME (I cannot remember his name….) this all took about two hours. All in all the whole day was long LONG LONG!!!!

love is the answer, you have got to trust in the world.

people type XOXO

people say HUGS & KISSES

thus X is HUG and O is KISSES.

there, all settled.

s.o.m.t.

Don’t you just love spending the ENTIRE weekend with two super cool people?! I know I sure do. Oh the jokes that are told, and laughs that are shared. The heart to heart’s that last an hour, and the moments that last for only a second (but are never forgotten). It is what truly defines love and friendship; when you can be with the same people all weekend and come out loving them even more… even when they say the dumbest things [I’m offended… literally]

on a side note: S.O.M.T.LIKE YOU WANTED ME CALLING ME ALL THE TIME LIKE BLONDIE CHECK OUT MY C.B. IT’S FINE ALL OF THE TIME LIKE S.O.T.B. [WHAT? HUH?] WHAT ELSE IS IN THE TEACHES OF PEACHES [HUH? WHAT?]

also… ALL AROUND THE WORLD … UJFBGOERVOUJER

ALL AROUND THE WORLD … CITY TO CITY

I believe that is all… it pretty much covers the weekend…

I LOVE YOU NINA W. AND OLIVIA R.

[ps… I would like to tie our shoelaces … {for reals, pinky promise} … SOOOOON!

Bakery

Oh bakery, you are so very busy this week, thanksgiving week that is. I believe we sold 700 plus loaves today when on an average day we sell around 200. Oh bakery you are so busy this week.

I worked today and yesterday from 12 o’clock until 6:30 when the store closes, most of that time is spent rushing around grabbing breads and scanning credit cards for crazed customers looking to complete their turkey dinner. It is true though, from east to the west, our bread is the best” and that is proven on these three remarkably crowded days.

and now that my final day of the week is done I may put my feet up and enjoy the holiday, spending the day at my grandparents with my the family then a traditional dinner around the table filling out stomachs with all the best; fruit salad, mashed potatoes, and of course, TURKEY.  Then it’s off to my dad’s parent’s house to see the bog wild family and enjoy home-made pies, cakes, and pure madness!

after the always fun filled day we call thanksgiving comes a peaceful Friday, for me at least, for all the parents however, it is a day when they must wake themselves at the crack of dawn to wait in massive lines and trample over unsuspecting clerks to purchase the hottest games and toys for their little ones Christmas joys. That’s right, its BLACK FRIDAY, the biggest and most Americanized shopping event of the year, a day where excess is the celebration and spending money is the past time. Yes, black Friday truly embodies the consumer nation that is America.

XO-XO, Au Revoir

<3

sometimes your closest friend is also your worst enemy

their ability to know all your secrets

to see you in a light nobody else even glimpses

their willingness to do right by you every second

however all their knowing and love

can also boil and be applied in a dangerous way

sometimes your closest friend can bring the heaviest tears to your eyes

can send the deepest pain into your heart

by simply telling a truth

a single sentence filled with love and compassion

and only the greatest intensions

can be the most heartbreaking thing ever heard.

braces

Oh braces…. such an amazing invention yet such a terrible thing in the end. They are gross, painful and not to mention UGLY. The worst part about them however is that they caused all modeling endeavors to stop. Just stop. But with bad news there must be good news, right? Well this time there is! An appointment scheduled for the Tuesday of next has been made, upon said appointment the Dr. will “assess” everything and then set another date in the upcoming December month. The so longed for appointment in December month will be one of great joy for at this time they will remove my front braces! yay yay yay!!! Sadly I will still have braces on my back molars but you shouldn't be able to see them… Which will be fantastic. The funny thing is, I don’t even remember what my teeth feel like without braces… Well I guess I will find out in December.

XO-XO Au Revoir.
